The end of the world?!

These days, lots of my friends are talking about that December 21, 2012 is the end of the world. People trust that the world will end in 2012 because there are approximately lots of myths support each other that December 21, 2012 will be the end of the world. The most popular that I had heard in my life is:
  • Maya Predicted End of the World in 2012

The Maya calendar notes that December 21, 2012 will be a new and grand cycle in the Mayan calendar: 1,872,000 days or 5,125.37 years. Also, in December 2012, the lengthy era ends and the cyclical calendar will roll over again to Day Zero, beginning another enormous cycle.
  • Planet X Is on a Collision Course With Earth

Some scientists say that a mysterious Planet X will be coming toward the earth. A direct hit would occurs when the Planet X comes toward the Earth. The collision could destroy everything on the Earth and change the atmosphere of the Earth. Moreover, the whole solar system will be influenced.
  • Solar Storms to Savage Earth

In some 2012 disaster prediction, our sun will be our enemy. Our friendly fellow star will produce lethal eruptions of solar flares that will heating up the solar system. Moreover, the big flares in our solar can damage our communications and other solar systems.

Also I have watched a short video that I think everyone should give a thought.

After you have watched this video, you can think about the life that you have now and think about is there anything you think you should cherish?
After watching this, i felt that I should be satisfied with that life that I am having, don't asking for too much and CHERISH what I have. A lot of my friends believe that December 21, 2012 is the end of the world. Therefore, they spoil their money, always feel upset and do nothing and playing everyday. I am totally disagree with that. Even you believe that the end of the world is coming, you should waste your life. On the contrary, you should make your life be more meaningful and enjoy every seconds, every day and everything that you have now.

Little Doggy

When I was small, I wanted a dog so much. However, my parents wouldn't let me get a dog because they were so busy at work so they wouldn't have time to take care of the dog( but I think it was because my mum was too afraid of the odor of the dog).
Last year, I eventually convinced my parents to let me get a dog. So I started to looking for a dog that could fit my apartment. Since I am allergy to hair so I would only find a non-shedding dog. After doing a lot of research, I decide to get a Cockapoo. Cockapoo is the cross dog of Cocker Spaniel and Poodle. Thus, Cockapoo is intelligent, sociable, high trainability and high in trust.
When my little dog was born, I had already ask the person to hold this Cockapoo for me. After four months waiting, I finally could take my little Cockapoo home on the day of Thanksgiving. The most interesting thing that I remember was when my little Cockapoo arrived home, he gave his first Thanksgiving present to us : a huge and smelly poo!!!!!
One year after the last Thanksgiving, my Cockapoo is not longer little, he is now 21 lbs and is really playful. He will do anything that will get your attention, he dashes away when he feels you are angry and he will do all the tricks he knows to begging you for a treat. I couldn't agree more that Cockapoo is really really intelligent because you wouldn't feel angry after seeing what he do for you.

Twilight Breaking Dawn Part II

Last Friday, my boyfriend and I went to Lincoln Square Cinema to watch the last Twilight series movie: Breaking Dawn Part II. People told me that they felt disappointed about the last episode because it didn't contains enough " fighting scenes." However, I am totally disagree with those people, I had seen all the Twilight movies and I personally think that this episode is the best one compares to the others. ( maybe it is because I am a HUGE fan of Twilight)
After watching this movie, I felt a bit sad because I won't have the next episode to wait. It feels as bad as when Harry Potter released the last movie and Gossip Girl release this season will be the last season. I have started to nonstop reading the Twilight novels since I was in Junior school, it was one of my favourite book at that time. I was always thinking about what if I could meet a vampire? what if a vampire is gonna bite me? ( how silly I was!!!)
Maybe I should buy the whole series of Twilight home and replay it from day to night in order to compensate my lost.

Glooming Portland

The pictures were taken from a park near the Fremont Bridge.

Portland is one of my favorite place in west coast because it is kind of crossover between the old fashioned architectures and the modern architecture. And you can wandering in the city for the whole day long with out any rush and feeling crowded.
I also brought my dog: Latte to Portland with me this time because I didn't want to left him alone at home. Therefore,  I decided  to go to the park which is located in downtown Portland. He likes the park and kept running all the time. However, the park is just right next to a major traffic road, so I was little nervous that he would dashed into the road.

After having a walk, my little Latte was really tired and felt asleep in the car. So we decided to go to a sushi restaurant which is really famous for its huge sushi. When we got there, the wait list was about three pages long, which means it took around three to four hours to wait. After waiting forever, we eventually got our seats about three and a half hour later. The sushi were incredibly huge and people next to my table told me that even he was about to finish twenty pieces of sushi at sushi bar, he could only finish four to five pieces here. The sushi taste not bad as it is selling for its huge size so it is understandable that the sushi is not as dedicate as the high rise sushi bar. Overall it was an good experience, I would definitely go back for another try!

The Pumpkin Patch

Halloween is coming! In my country we rarely celebrate Halloween. Therefore, I decided to do something special for this Halloween.
At first, I planned to the haunted house, which is located at Seattle. However, my boyfriend and friend disagreed with that because they were too afraid of the hidden surprise inside the haunted house. So I did some research on yelp and saw that a lot people suggested visiting the corn maze and the pumpkin patch for Halloween. Eventually, we decided to visit the pumpkin patch which is located at Snohomish.
After we arrived there, I was a bit surprised because it was my first time to see pumpkin on the mud. Every family had a cart to carry the pumpkin that they picked from the patch. After we walked around the pumpkin patch, we went to the country market which is nearby.
I noticed that there were various pumpkins at the country market, some of the colors are really rare to see at the supermarket.
At last, we planned to go to the corn maze, but the people there told us that they don't recommend us to go in there because the mud will be everywhere on our shoes. They leads us for several steps to see how bad it is. As a result, we all decided not to going there.
Even can't go the corn maze is a little depressed, it is still really funny to see the pumpkin patch! Wish I could convinced my boyfriend and friend to visit the haunted house next year!
